Alvin Keen, MPM, MBA

Professor Alvin Keen is a first-generation college graduate, originally from Southern California, now resides in Houston, Texas. With a distinguished career spanning multiple industries, he is currently a Program Manager in Supplier Development within the defense industry.
Before his current role, Professor Alvin retired from The Boeing Company, where he served as a Project Manager overseeing commercial and military aircraft programs, as well as space exploration projects. His career also includes service in the U.S. Army, where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, working as a Program Manager and Officer in the Acquisitions Corps. Additionally, he has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, managing international subsea oil-gas programs.
Professor Alvin holds numerous professional certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), including PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, PMI-PBA,CPIM, and CTSC. He also earned his Green Belt (GB) and Black Belt (BB) certifications from the Department of Defense (DoD). He has earned the Resilience Based Leadership Trainer (RBLP-T) - Credential.
His academic achievements include postgraduate coursework in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University, an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University, a Master of Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science - Aerospace Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
