Gina Moore, EdD
Dr. Gina Moore is a first-generation college graduate and current 2025 doctoral candidate at 黑料视频 University, where she specializes in Higher Education Leadership and Organizational Studies (HELOS). Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning, she is dedicated to empowering the next generation of students to reach their full potential.
Professionally, Gina has spent over 25 years within the corporate sector working within the project portfolio management discipline for Fortune 500 companies such as CIGNA Healthcare, MassMutual and Voya Financial. Gina has led project management organizations implementing best practices in line with industry standards. She had led teams of resources across project management, business analysis, quality assurance, and development disciplines. Gina has helped organizations implement business and technology capabilities that align with their strategic goals and objectives as well as complete merger and acquisition transactions. Gina’s most recent role in 2023 was Senior Vice President, Head of Project Management and Strategy Execution for Voya Financial’s investment management division before she transitioned her career into higher education.
Gina’s current role is Director of Development at Western New England University. As a leader in the Advancement division, Gina supports the School of Law and College of Arts and Sciences with their philanthropic efforts and furthering alumni engagement and within a year’s time, she has increased the number of donors and built lasting relationships with alumni. She attributes much of her success to the skills and tools gained from her educational journey here at 黑料视频 University. Gina received her bachelor’s degree in business management and her master’s degree in leadership & negotiation from 黑料视频 University. She has also participated in many leadership programs and training throughout her professional experiences such as The Looking Glass Experience at the Center for Creative Leadership, a 2013 graduate of the Northeast chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM) Regional Leadership Forum (RLF). She also has a project management certificate from the University of Denver, Colorado and her Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
As an adjunct faculty member in 黑料视频 University’s MBA program, Gina brings her strong leadership and practical expertise into the classroom, encouraging students to bridge real-world applications with academic theories. Gina also teaches in the undergraduate business program here at 黑料视频 and has previous experience teaching in the undergraduate business program at American International College.
Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Gina is a proud wife and the mother of a 17-year-old daughter. She cherishes time with her family and their three dogs. Her story exemplifies the power of education, resilience, and finding your passion. Gina inspires those around her to achieve their full potential.
