Under a sunny sky, Cambridge College proudly celebrated its 2025 Commencement at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston on Sunday, June 8. The unforgettable day of unity and transformation honored the achievements of approximately 755 graduates representing more than 25 states and several countries.

The ceremony highlighted not only the academic accomplishments of the graduates but also the perseverance and community spirit that define the Cambridge College experience. The day brought together students, families, faculty, and friends to honor a remarkable class of learners—many of whom balanced full-time jobs, caregiving responsibilities, and other life challenges to complete their degrees.

“This is not just a graduating class,” shared President Sandra J. Doran. “This is a global community. You’ve written a new chapter—and your story will inspire others.”

A highlight of the celebration was the awarding of an honorary degree to Susan M. Ifill, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NeighborWorks America and a proud two-time Cambridge College alumna. Her extraordinary professional journey—from bank teller to senior vice president roles at Bank of America and Carver Federal Savings Bank, to leading affordable housing efforts in New York City, and now overseeing national operations at NeighborWorks—serves as a powerful testament to the life-changing impact of education.

Ms. Ifill’s contributions to both the financial and nonprofit sectors have earned her deep respect and admiration. She has served on numerous boards, including Purple Heart Homes, Onity Group’s Community Advisory Committee, and Fifth Third Bank’s Community Advisory Forum, and is the immediate past Chair of the Cambridge College Board of Trustees.

Her story resonates deeply with the Cambridge College and 黑料视频 University mission—empowering adult learners to lead and serve.

Throughout the day, the celebration came to life on social media. Graduates posted joyful photos, many with the Boston skyline behind them, proudly using hashtags like #CambridgeCollege2025, #YouDidIt, and #PavilionPride.

One graduate wrote: “From night classes to this moment on the waterfront—I did it for my kids, my future, and myself.”

Another stated: “From Puerto Rico to Boston—dream achieved.”

And a joyful new graduate added: “First-gen and proud!”

The ceremony also carried a powerful call to action—a charge to the graduates as delivered by Dr. Niti Seth, Chief Academic Officer at Cambridge College and 黑料视频 University:

“You’ve just made the greatest investment of your life—your education. You’ve earned your degree, and in doing so, you’ve also earned back countless hours of your time that had been spent studying, doing projects, and writing papers. So, I ask you: What will you do with that time? What will you do with those precious hours and minutes?

Let me leave you with these prophetic words: ‘Graduation is not the end; it’s the beginning. The learning doesn’t stop here—it only deepens.’ That is your charge. You are now lifelong learners. Seekers of truth. Ambassadors of knowledge. Make your time count. Our world doesn’t just ask this of you—it demands it. Never stop learning.”

As the Class of 2025 moves on to the next chapter of their lives, they carry not only a degree, but also the support of a community that will always stand behind them. They are ready to lead with compassion, courage, and purpose.

Congratulations, Class of 2025—you did it!
